My family and I recently experienced a delightful stay at Eco-Lodge in the serene village of Irota. Surrounded by nature, this modern yet rustic Hungarian house provided the perfect escape for us. Our children, aged 6 and 10, found joy in birdwatching - spotting colorful feathers flitting about the tranquil surroundings. The accommodations catered well to families, with a CD player keeping the little ones entertained in the evenings.We ventured out for a family hike nearby, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the Hungarian countryside. The hosts, Jeroen and Lennard, were exceptionally accommodating and made our stay truly memorable. The eco-friendly ethos of the lodge resonated with us, and we savored delicious homemade meals by Marika, a lovely local cook. For a peaceful retreat that harmonizes with nature and offers a warm and inclusive atmosphere for families, Eco-Lodge in Irota comes highly recommended.
